Well This week is race the big, It's the 2010 Ironman World Championship in Kona. The race is on October 8th 2010. The has only 1,800 racers, that may seem like alot but there are thousands more that would love to feel the pain of the Kona Course. The course offers 2.4-miles of swimming, 112-miles of biking, and a 26.2-mile marathon run through tough ocean waves, and challenging lava-covered terrain.Defending Championships Craig Alexander and Chrissie Wellington will be present in fine form to defend their titles.
I have not been able to find out where to watch it live, looks like they will broadcast the 2009 race on the 8th and in December they will broadcast this race. (if you know something different let me know)
