Vibram Five fingers

Hello all,
Today I got a pair of Vibram Five Fingers bikilas, they lean more towards running.

I put them on and they feel great, I wore them around the house then me and Heidi went for a short run in them, at first you notice how light they feel, near the end of the run you realize how sore those muscles that you never use have become.... I look forward to breaking them in..

A great view

Yesterday was a odd day weather wise, but you know what they say red skies in morning sailors take warning!!

That goes way back to the bible, i was talking to a coworker about how we as humans have lost our ability to interact with nature.

Think about tribes that are still deep in the jungle, they have the ability to live off the land and read it, they know when a storm is coming they understand animals , it's just funny how we lost alot of those skills but use technology to get it back..

GeoTagged, [N35.37331, E119.00848]

Well we are in California.... Tomorrow we set out to Yosemite National park... It should be a blast.
When at the airport we weighed our packs and they're about 40lbs each, so that will be alittle heavy for climbing half dome but we'll make it...

I'll update later

New pack

Well it's about a month till my trip to Yosemite National Park....Yippee

Well today I went backpack shopping, the first bag I bought I loved the setup but I realized it was too small, it was a 36L pack... I hit up another shop and located a 60L pack on sale, I picked it up and it's there in the pic.

Next on my list is a new pair of hiking boots!! I can't wait for the trip!

Mcchrystal Fired: Rolling stone article

There was alot of Talk about General Mcchrystal being Fired from his position yesterday, I don't agree with it, but I'm only a Canadian.... My Favorite quote would have to be where Mcchrystal reders to the white house as being Wimps... I'd love to see them over there fighting and acting out the decisions they make, anyways you can read the article here
